  • The DSE4420 is an Auto Mains (utility) Failure Control module for single genset applicaiton.  The module has been disigned to work with electronic and non-electronic applications providing advanced monitoring and protection features.

    The  module is available in CANbus and magnetic pick-up versions (to be specified on ordering)

    The module includes a back-lit LCD display which clearly shows the status of the generator at all times.  It will monitor frequency, oil pressure, coolant temperature and fuel level.  The module has also been designed to display the warning a nd shutdown status of the engine.

    The module includes six digital inputs and six outputs.  Four outputs are configurable on the magnetic pick-up version and six are configurable on the CANbus version.  The module can either be programmed using the front panel or by using the DSE PC Configuration Suite software.

Operation

The module is operated using t he front STOP/RESET, AUTO and START pushbuttons.

Two additional pushbuttons next to the LCD display are provided to scroll through the modules' metering displays and to access the event log.
