DSE Product Range

The DSE701 is a Manual/Auto Start Control Module that offers an excellent range of engine monitoring and protection features.

The module has been designed to monitor low oil pressure, high engine temperature, over speed and a user defined auxiliary input. It also has the capability to monitor battery charging by utilising the WL terminal on the charge alternator.  

When the module detects a fault condition it automatically shuts down the engine   The module also includes a remote start signal input. The input allows the module to be started from a pre-defined remote location.

The module also has two configurable auxiliary inputs and a configurable engine pre-heat timer. When the module detects a fault condition it automatically shuts down the engine, indicating the exact fault via LED.  

The module has also been designed to automatically start the engine within three attempts and crank disconnect.

The DSE704 is an Auto Mains Failure Control Module that offers an excellent range of engine monitoring and protection features. The module has been designed to monitor engine temperature, low oil pressure, fail to start, charge failure, over speed and under speed. When the module detects a fault condition it automatically shuts down the engine. The module also includes two user configurable auxiliary inputs.    The module has been designed to automatically start the generator when the mains (utility) power fails. As soon as mains (utility) power is restored the module has been designed to transfer the load back to the mains (utility) supply. The module then instructs the engine to begin the cool down procedure and stopping sequence (user configured).  

The DSE705 is an Auto Transfer Switch Control Module that has been designed to monitor the mains (utility) supply.    When the mains (utility) power fails the module sends a start request to the generator control unit. When the generator is up and running the module transfers the load across. When the mains (utility) returns the module transfers the load back and removes the start command. The generator should then begin it’s shutdown procedure.   The module can be configured so that they follow the users pre-set start and stop sequences.   

The DSE710 is an Automatic Start Control Module that offers an advanced range of engine monitoring and protection features. The module has been designed to monitor generator frequency, generator volts, generator current, engine oil pressure, engine coolant temperature, engine running hours and battery volts. The module also displays the engine speed. When the module detects a fault condition it automatically shuts down the engine and indicates the exact fault on the modules LCD display or relevant LED indicator.   The module can be configured using the front panel or via the DSE810 interface and a PC. The module can also be controlled from a PC that is located up to 100 meters away.

The DSE720 is an Automatic Mains Failure Control Module that offers an advanced range of engine monitoring and protection features. The module has been designed to monitors a mains supply and switch over to the generator when the mains power fails.  The module monitors generator frequency, generator volts, generator current, engine oil pressure, engine coolant temperature, engine running hours and battery volts. The module also displays the engine speed. When the module detects a fault condition it automatically shuts down the engine and indicates the exact fault on the modules LCD display or relevant LED indicator.   The module can be configured using the front panel or via the DSE810 interface and a PC. The module can also be controlled from a PC that is located up to 100 meters away.  

The DSE4110 is an Automatic Start Control Module that offers an excellent range of engine monitoring and protection features. The module has been designed to monitor over speed, under speed, high engine temperature, low oil pressure, battery charge fail and fail to start.   The module also has two configurable auxiliary inputs and a configurable engine pre-heat timer. The DSE5120 is an Automatic Mains Failure Control Module designed to automatically start and stop diesel and gas generating sets that include non electronic engines. The module also monitors the mains (utility) supply and provides excellent engine monitoring and protection features. Upon detection of a mains (utility) failure the module automatically starts the generating set. Once the mains power has been restored it instructs the generating set to stop.   The module has the ability to monitor under speed, over speed, charge failure, emergency stop, low oil pressure, high engine temperature, fail to start, fail to stop and loss of the speed sensing signal. The module displays fault conditions on the LCD display and via the LED indicators on the front.

The DSE5210 is an Automatic Start Control Module designed to automatically start and stop diesel and gas generating sets that include non electronic engines. The module also provides excellent engine monitoring and protection features.    The module has the ability to monitor under speed, over speed, charge failure, emergency stop, low oil pressure, high engine temperature, fail to start, fail to stop, under/over generator volts, over current, under/over generator frequency, low/high DC battery volts, low fuel alarm and loss of the speed sensing signal. The module displays fault conditions on the LCD display and via the LED indicators on the front of the panel.

The module includes RS232 or RS485 communications capabilities for linking to a PC, sending SMS messages and interfacing with new and existing building management systems.

The DSE5510 is an Automatic Engine Control Module, designed to provide advanced load share functionality for diesel and gas generating sets that include non-electronic and electronic engines. The module also provides excellent engine monitoring and protection features.    The modules load share functions include, automatic synchronising with built in synchroscope and closing onto dead bus. Direct and flexible outputs from the module are provided to allow connection to the most commonly used speed governors and automatic voltage regulators (AVR’s). The module has been designed to combine a maximum of 16 generators and 16 mains (utility) supplies up to a maximum of 20 in one system, e.g. 16 generators and 4 mains (utility) supplies (DSE5560 required to synchronise with the mains)   The module has the ability to monitor under/over generator volts, over current, under/over generator frequency, under speed, over speed, charge fail, emergency stop, low oil pressure, high engine temperature, fail to start, low/high DC battery volts, fail to stop, generator short circuit protection, reverse power, generator phase rotation error, earth fault protection, loss of speed signal, fail to open, fail to close, out of sync and MPU open circuit failure, negative phase sequence and loss of excitation.

The DSE520 is an Automatic Engine Control Module designed to automatically start and stop the engine.  It will indicate the operational status and fault conditions, automatically shut down the engine and indicate the engine failure by a flashing LED on the front panel.  Other simultaneous faults are indicated by steady LED.

The DSE521 is an Automatic Engine Control Module designed to automatically start and stop the engine.  Indicating operational status and fault conditions, it will automatically shut down the engine and indicate engine failure by flashing LED on the front panel.  Other simultaneous faults are indicated by steady LED.

The DSE550 is an Automatic Engine Control Module.  The module is used to automatically start and stop the engine, indicating the operational status and fault conditions by means of an LCD display and a flashing LED on the front panel.  Selected operational sequences, timers and alarms can be altered by the user.  Alterations to the system are made using the DSE810 interface and a PC.  The system can also be monitored locally or remotely.

The DSE560 is an Automatic Engine Control Module.  The module is used to automatically start and stop the engine and indicate operational status and fault conditions.  It will automatically shut down the engine and indicate the engine failure by means of a graphical LCD display and a flashing LED on the front panel.

Selected operational sequences, timers and alarms can be altered by the customer.  Configuration changes to the system are made using the DSE808 Interface and a PC.
