  • Deep Sea Electronics is the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic control solutions within the power generation industry.  The company has established an enviable reputation across the globe for its high quality, reliable product range and is now looking for a Business Development Manager, based in Rockford, IL to further strengthen the company’s North American market share.

    You will be responsible for managing a dedicated sales territory and will be required to develop existing accounts as well as gaining new business.  You will also be required to prepare and maintain sales territory reports on a monthly basis.  The successful candidate must also be prepared to travel on a regular basis, including 3 visits per annum to the company’s UK facilities.

    You are required to have at least 3 years experience in a customer facing sales role.  You will be educated to degree level and will have practical experience of working within an electrical/electronics environment.  Experience of working within the power generation industry would be an advantage as would the ability to speak a second language.  You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working within a sales environment.  You must also possess excellent IT skills and be fully conversant with Microsoft Office systems.  The role also requires excellent organization and communication skills.

    The company has established an enviable reputation across the globe for its high quality, reliable product range and is now looking for a Systems Software Engineer to add to its expanding development team.
    Working as part of a dedicated project team, you will be responsible for developing and testing software for new and existing products, using high level C/C++ and embedded code, in a real-time, control environment.  Familiarity with ARM and Coldfire processors is required. You will also be responsible for testing and proving designs to product specifications and required industry standards, including environmental and EMC. 

    With a degree in a Software/Computer Engineering discipline you will have at least 5 years experience in a relevant position.  You will have a background in a modern, fast moving product environment and will possess excellent working knowledge of modern microprocessor and micro controller designs.  You must also be conversant with ISO 9001 QA requirements and design rule checking of code, including MISRA.  The ability to demonstrate previous experience of working within a team environment, delivering projects on time and taking responsibility for your own work is essential.

    The company has established an enviable reputation across the globe for its high quality, reliable product range and is now looking for a PC Software Engineer to add to its expanding development team.
    Working as part of a dedicated project team, you will be responsible for developing, adding to and testing PC software for new and existing products, using high level C++/C# code, in a real-time, control environment.  You will also be responsible for testing and proving designs to required industry standards.

    With a proven PC Software background you will have at least 5 years experience in a relevant position.  You will have a background in a modern, fast moving electronics product environment and will possess excellent working knowledge of coding for communications technologies, including RS232, RS485, USB and Ethernet.  You must also be conversant with ISO 9001 controlled document systems and demonstrate experience of using Visual Studio/Winforms.  Previous use of Borland C++ Builder would be an advantage.  The ability to demonstrate previous experience of working within a team environment, delivering projects on time and to budget and taking responsibility for your own work are essential.
