DSE was the controller of choice for Sir Ranulph Fiennes and his team when undertaking the Coldest Journey expedition across the Antarctic. The expedition commenced last week, allbeit without Sir Ranulph as he was airlifted to South Africa after suffering severe frost bite. The rest of the team unanimously decided to continue the winter crossing of Antarctica and set off in a bid to conduct many scientific experiments.
The team will face some of the toughest conditions on Earth - near permanent darkness and temperatures dropping close to -90C and the DSE controllers will operate Westac Power gensets to provide the team with all it’s power requirements.
DSE controllers are manufactured in the UK and offer the most reliable control solution for the most extreme and rugged environments including sub zero temperatures, vibration and shock.

Our most recent exhibition in the Middle East last week was an outstanding success. Our exhibition staff were kept busy throughout the entire 3 day show with visitors from all over the Middle East and also many visitors from outside the area.
Many new products were on show causing a great amount of interest and the inclusion of our products on other OEM’s stands gave us a very high profile within the exhibition.
Thanks to all that came to visit us.

DSE ran a training course recently in Lagos, Nigeria. This training covered many aspects of the controllers including the configuration, operation and installation.
Our long standing customers and partners still benefit from refresher and full training courses to ensure that all staff are fully up to speed with the ever changing generator control environment and are utilising and benefiting from the advanced control solutions that DSE offer. Deep Sea Electronics, the market leader in Generator Controls, were again represented at the PowerGen exhibition in Orlando, USA.
The show covered 396,000 sq ft and had more than 21,000 visitors over 3 days. Many new products were exhibited, drawing in over 1000 visitors. New products included displays, engine only controller, new features for load sharing, ATS, lighitng tower controller, enclosed intelligent battery chargers, LED drivers including our new Dali driver, WebNet SCADA system and much more.
